Our history
Sheringham coastwastch has a rich history, founded in 1997 to help keep the users of sea and coastal areas safe.
Prior to 1997, the history of the watch tower goes even further back to when it was part of HM Coastguard.

What we do
We are the eyes and ears of HM Coastguard in Sheringham, logging all activity within a 15 mile radius.
Our volunteers keep the station open 365 days a year to help ensure the safety of all sea and coastal users in the area.
